I'm Sohaib — an MCA graduate from Kolkata who fell for the unglamorous parts of software: retrieval pipelines, schema design, the control loop inside an AI agent. I've built and deployed RAG systems and tool-using agents with FastAPI, PostgreSQL and pgvector, mostly from scratch, because I wanted to know what was actually happening underneath the frameworks.

Right now I'm looking for my first AI engineering or Python backend role, remote or onsite. I learn fastest with a real problem in front of me — which is why everything on this site is something I actually built, shipped, and wrote up by hand.

Away from the terminal I'm usually inside a game with the HUD switched off, hunting for a frame worth keeping. The photography wing of this site is that habit, archived.
